Giving up a pet is never an easy choice.
If there’s a way to help you keep your pet, we want to help make that happen …But, we also understand sometimes life takes us down an unexpected path forcing us to make this decision.
If times are tough, and you just need some extra support to keep your pet - know that in most communities there are ways to get help! Around the Lansing MI area, there are resources you can find through the button below to help with things such as:

Low cost bloodwork and other diagnostics

If you need to surrender your cat or a cat you found, we will need some information.

we generally cannot take in cats the day of a request - this is due to space and funding limitations. We have to have an open volunteer foster home and appropriate time and funding to dedicate to the cat in need.

While we would love to be able to take every cat in need….that just isn’t realistic. That is why rescues, shelters and reputable social media resources all work together to find help for pets in need as soon as possible! If we don’t have space…maybe someone else does, or will before we do.
